Holidays In Spain…

We as individuals are always accustomed to our traditions and upbringing…this holiday season i got to experience NYE in Spain! I tend to go often….but it was my actual 1st NEW YEARS! They have a tradition of eating 12 grapes in a row…right when the clock strikes 12AM! On NYE to bring in the new year, its a way of adding sweetness and prosperity into the upcoming year, aka a sign of good luck and fortune! Although it was quite fast, and all i can think of in my mind each time i heard a “ding” (with every ding you stick a grape into your mouth 12 x….representing the 12 months of the year) was Sarah whatever you do…. DO NOT CHOKE! Lol. Anyways all went well and amazing and the weather was beyond perfect! I even had a chance to experience snowboarding, which was fun and rough at the same time! Never thought I’d fall so much in my life! and the best part of it all was that i was able to do it on the border of 2 countries! Which has always been on my wish list! Being at the Border of France and Spain was epic! I literally made sure to hop over from one side to the next like a little girl lol. Below i will post my looks for the last bit of 2019! Welcoming in 2020!!! (Which is a fab number, aside from hopefully the best year yet!) ENJOY, and happy NEW YEAR to ALL!

Happy 2020 y’all!!!!!!!!

Art Basel Miami 2019!

Where so many artists from all around the world, come together to one of the hottest places in the world (literally) sunny Miami! Now aside from artists, you will also have a huge scene of celebrities, designers, bloggers, influencers, pop ups and so on. It also becomes a huge party scene…..which can be a good thing and a bad thing. For one I truly believe sometimes people forget what Art Basel is all about. Its not about the parties, or an excuse to get intoxicated, its about the ART! …I’m sure I've mentioned before that I come from a very artsy home, therefore I truly love art! It gives me a special feeling inside when I look at it, especially when its an art piece that I admire. I have a sister that is a known artist, and she herself gets brought down to Basel in order to paint murals in different local hot spots. She’s amazing at what she does, and therefore is super successful! As far as ME goes, since I am a local fashion blogger and influencer, I do have to network and go to many events that are collaborated between artists and fashion designers. Its not only amazing for me because its a huge passion of mine, but socializing and meeting amazing new people in the fashion and art world is a huge plus! So yeah the parties are fun and all but lets truly remember why Art Basel is so special, and what its all about. I will post below some photos of the amazing events I attended this year with my outfits and and so on, as well as some of my favorite art pieces this year.

AMIM

We all heard this more than once or maybe even twice .... “The medical system in the US sucks...” and here’s why..... what is a doctor really? The true definition of a doctor to me is a person who is selfless, and truly cares for another being. He/she is somewhat of a superhero.... it’s a person who we trust to make sure our lives and health are well taken care of correct? ....But unfortunately sometimes the term “money is thicker than blood” kicks in.... where the money factor becomes more important than that of a persons life! This is probably the main reason why the health system can get tricky. We begin to ask ourselves.... do we really trust this doctor? Is he/she actually recommending this for my well being or is it because it’s more money for his/her pocket. Now.... getting to my point, we begin to understand why many people prefer the European/Latin style of medicine. Where you know that a doctor became a doctor not because he/she is a business man/woman, but because they were born with a passion to help, save, and take good care of lives. To make you feel comfortable as if you were in your own home, and to recommend the best possible advice or solution for whatever your body may need. With that being said I found the perfect place HERE in Miami!!! @aestheticinstitutemiami ... Made me feel beyond comfortable, at home, and gave me the best possible advice for what I personally wanted to achieve, and made sure I got the best possible realistic results! Remember we all want to age gracefully, but sometimes what we believe are flaws are truly just our facial expressions.... and we don’t want to lose that, because it is who we are! We can preserve in a natural and fine way, without overdoing it and making ourselves appear even older than we may be. Doctor Anna Sottile has over 30 years of medical practice, she made me feel welcomed and at home. She made sure to show me the product she would be using to reassure me, that she will be using exactly that specific product and for me not to feel as if I’m being misled or cheated out of anything. To me she’s the future of a bigger better medicine! Something this country is lacking.... Thank you!! www.aestheticinstitutemiami.com

MIAMI SWIM WEEK 2019

Ok I’m ready to write a bit about swim week! Being practically raised on a beach my whole life, you can imagine how important swimwear and swim week is to me! I believe I even blogged about my passion for bikinis previously and #LIFEINABIKINI is basically my motto. Now it’s something rather small and tiny (at least for me it is lol) but creativity and imagination and taking style to a whole new level is where these designers and artists come into place.... it’s always in sunny MIAMI of course, I mean where else would it be right? We got the beaches, the perfect models and bodies, best weather, and overall best PLACE! It’s like being on vacation each and every day! So for sure SWIM WEEK MIAMI is one of my favorite weeks! I get to meet designers, network, go to the shows, blog and post about it, enjoy a few cocktails here and there, and do what I do best! Socialize and BLOG! Below I will post my outfits for this years swim week, as well as just some of my favorite shows I got to go to and enjoy, and mingle with the models and designers. Happy Reading!

Life Goals…

I was out tonight, when i enter my car it connects immediately to my Spotify music. In one of my playlists I have a mix of different genres and songs. Some old, some new, some classic, and some gangsta! So back to tonight when i went into my car, the song “bittersweet symphony” by The Verve plays, since my playlist was on shuffle mode. Now i really love that song! 1- because it reminds me of one of my favorite movies “Cruel Intentions” and 2- theres a specific line in the lyrics, that caught my attention and made me stop and think for a bit. Of course i heard this song plenty of times but, perhaps I didn’t think the lyrics through, i was perhaps younger and didn’t care as much to appreciate the words, or maybe its just the time and place, that made me think of it a bit more into depth. “Trying to make ends meet, your a slave to money then you die.” How true! And perhaps sad at the same time. We are slaves in a weird way…. and then its all gone in a blink of an eye. Some of us may have reached our life goals, and some of us may think we did, and then theres the ones who are far from it. We all think so far ahead, and get so caught up with it we never think of just being in the moment and just being in the NOW! I’m all about life goals, I’m all about achieving everything your heart desires because i was born ambitious! I’m a fighter at hard! And i fight to get what I want always! But also i need to learn to be happy and content with my achievements and not drive myself crazy to achieve more and more! I believe many out there my age or even older, were unable to achieve half of the things i did. The point here is, achieve your life goals….but to acknowledge that you did and actually appreciate and remember those achievements so you can stop beating yourself up about more and more. Below i will post a photo of myself in a super cute outfit with a goal i had from a very young age that i worked hard to achieve in my life and I actually did! Which is having my first home. This photo is taken in the backyard of my home, which is only one my greatest achievements and goal.

Retail Therapy…

IMG_1734.jpeg

We have all heard this term before, and I’m sure we have all experienced it as well. Now apparently there is a reason why “Retail Therapy” for whatever reason helps us all on the inside. Wether we are going through stress at work, relationship battles, children issues, parental problems, whatever the cause, it obviously helps and makes us feel good in that very moment. Truth of the matter is after you actually step out of all the shopping that made you forget of whatever it is that you wanted to forget about in that very moment, you still end up exactly where you left off. Now isn’t shopping supposed to be a privelede? Something you do because you earned it? Because you saved up for it? Or because you actually NEED it? Why does it have to turn into an escape? A bad rememberance? A so called help? Do we really want to stare at our wardrobe/closet and remember the day we bought that specific item as a day of sadness? Now obviously i myself did this more than once or even twice, but as i get older i realize its just better to stay put! If things do not go your way for whatever reason, escaping sometimes can even make it worst. Stay put! Think! Mourn! Hope for the best and keep strong in a more natural way. After all, buying something nice for yourself, should be a happy moment! I also believe when happy, your buying decisions tend to be a lot more better in taste. I will post some photos of myself SHOPPING but NOT as an escape!

Life’s A Beach…

Being born and raised by a beach, it’s only natural for me to own a whole bunch of beautiful bikinis, ones of different shapes and sizes! Wether it’s a tube top, a cheeky bottom, a thong, or polka dots! I got it all! Why? Because it’s just as important as undergarments to me! Now with that said.... I have to also make sure that I fit into them just as I want and like to lol! Luckily for me since I’m one major fitness junkie, this combination goes exactly according to plan. Since I do happen to live in a paradise like city, with many beautiful beaches, and great weather. I still enjoy exploring the world for more beautiful beaches, as it always feels like my  home away from home. I am a water sign, so I guess it’s just totally normal for me to love the ocean and beach. I enjoy exploring the waters and the sand. The softer the sand, and the clearer the water, the happier I am! I will post some cute bikini styles and some great beaches below! I hope you all enjoy my salt life journey, and keep following me on Instagram in order to see more!

What happens in St Barth’s...

What is it about girls trips??? I mean why is it that we feel like kids again when we plan a trip together? Why do we look forward to it so much more than an actual partner or family get away! So let’s start by saying, in most healthy normal relationships each one of us women will obviously love our children and partners in life more than anything and anyone! But doesn’t mean traveling with them keeps us young and stress free lol if ya know what I mean. It’s not about being careless, it’s more about being “carefree” in a weird way. We can be a million miles away and always care, but also have that sensation of sort of disconnecting from reality and our everyday life. When our names are called out constantly, with dinners, homework’s, work, or whatever else we may have on our plate. This trip below to St. Barth’s was planned about 2 months ahead of time! With 4 really close friends and the excitement was beyond that it felt like almost a year till we actually got on that plane, after so much prepping, planning, packing and group chatting! We may seem like teenagers! But that’s because at heart we really are, minus the BS that comes with it. We are not looking to please each other or anyone, but more pleasing ourselves and allowing ourselves to have that little freedom and time to actually love and appreciate everything we have back at home! Wether it’s our partners, kids, mothers, whoever and whatever. This is life! Below I will post photos of the amazing resort we stayed in, as well as photos of my outfits and style thanks to many of the designers that contributed and made sure I slayed this island. Enjoy!

ENJOYING LIFE...IN STYLE!

There’s many ways to enjoy your life, and each person has a specific something that they love that gives them that special happy feeling on the inside. For some of us it’s cars, or a passion for boating, collecting art or action figures, and of course for me TRAVELING (shopping, jewelry, shoes, and so on....lol) But when doing so, i always make sure to stay in STYLE. So for example, since i do love to travel and someone that blogs about fashion or my “OOTD” (Outfit Of The Day) you would think I’m traveling with my whole entire house/closet, or that i start packing and preparing my luggage weeks in advance. So believe it or not...i used to be THAT or worst! Way before i even began blogging, i was that girl that even took her own shampoo and body soap with her when traveling (regardless if i was staying in a 5 star hotel or not). But as i got really into hitting major destinations on my bucket list that i dont want to miss out on seeing, i realized i can NOT be traveling like that anymore. So now here comes the question of how did you plan this outfit or top or bottom with that bottom or top, with that belt or headpiece, with those sunglasses and shoes, and so on.... I pack 3-5 hours before i need to go to the airport, and i do not plan any of my outfits! I just grab what i like in that very moment that i see, and i pack it that very same day. I hate to plan anything...let alone my clothing. Each day that i wake up my vibe is different, my mood is different, i dont know if i want to be edgy or classy, rocker chic or boho chic, grungy looking or little girl on the prairie looking. I mean so how can i plan so far in advance??? Now here’s where talent and passion comes in. Styling is an art, its a passion, its something that comes naturally just by a glance. We dont try or think to hard, and most of us can get ready in 10 minutes although it looks like it took us 5 hours. Thats where our love, passion, talent, and hobbie kicks in. I am going to be traveling very soon with some of my bestest girlfriends to a destination that is on my bucket list of course lol, and the challenge is packing just a carry on! So wish me luck and ill keep you all posted about my journey, and this soon to be trip. Below i will add some images of my “STYLE” while traveling and “ENJOYING LIFE” with out even thinking of these specific outfits, prior to packing. ENJOY!

Hair Accessories

0088240A-72CE-4D86-AC49-7ECF70D30B28.JPG

I have become obsessed with hair accessories …but for years now!!! i love it all! whether its headbands, hats, pins, clips, bandanas, you name it and ill wear it! the trendier the better! I even remember when turbans were in style about 5 years ago…i think i owned every color there was. To me it completes an outfit, or adds an extra something to it. It also can enhance the coloring of your face, and gives it a special brightness. I don’t care if it matches the outfit or not when it comes to design or color…sometimes when you mix prints, it can come out super chic and cool looking. Many people don’t think of adding a hair accessory to their outfit, because they are either not comfortable in it, or feel as if they cant pull it off, or maybe that its too much, or that it takes away from the outfit. But as you all know i believe “More is More…” below i will post some shots of my many different hair accessories, of today and some years back. ENJOY!

As you can see I’ve been playing with hair accessories and mixing it up for over 7 years now…. the photos that you see are of me today, as well as photos from about 7 years ago. It is something i love to play with, and dress up my outfit and style with. Keeps things fun and interesting, like a true fashionista.

What The Valentines Day???

Since it was just St. Valentines Day besides for red style outfits, and romanticism, let me give you my thoughts in regards to this day. So to be honest, if you do have a special someone and are totally madly in love with them as you should be, then Valentines Day should be EVERYDAY! right? I come from a very expressive, loving, and passionate home, where we express our love for one another and we hug and kiss and are super warm. Therefore if i am in love, I AM IN LOVE! i spoil my man, i take care of my man, i want to be with him always, i want to hug and kiss him every minute and chance i get, (and of course i expect it in return) so lets be clear…LOVE is not roses and chocolates. Truth is real relationships are difficult to begin with, they consist of so much work! and nobody in this world (if they tell you they do they are lying, trust me) has a perfect relationship. So why should love be expressed one day out of the year? It should be expressed, and felt each and every day. It is kind of like mothers day, if your a mom… then hell yeah mothers day should be every single day! it is a never ending job, and a task that can not be described unless you are a mother. So obviously as I’m sure most of us know this day is all to promote spending, and receiving more things, that we don’t possibly need to have exactly on that day. I mean why cant i receive flowers or chocolate on a random Tuesday right? if it is at that specific moment that my partner or the man/person who loves me feels like expressing his love in that certain way, on any given day, then that is what he should do. There shouldn’t have to be a date for LOVE, we should never stop loving! Now how about the people who have no one? They are practically banned on this day!? complete losers? or loners? how bad do they must feel on that day, that they had to create a “galentines” or “manentines”? I think you get what i mean. Now on another note if we want to talk FASHION … its so fun to take Valentine’s PHOTOS!!! getting all made up, and dolled up! I am totally all about getting all dressed up cute and creative, and having a whole fun loving photo shoot, with a whole lot of RED (one of my favorite colors), and a good kissable RED LIP! below i will show you my Valentines Day outfit, i kept it casual, but cute and fun! i hope you enjoy it, and feel free to comment or reach out with any inquiries or questions.

As you can see I kept it super casual, but super fun at the same time! I really emphasized on everything hearts! Since it is the day of “LOVE” i paired this look with a red and white Miu Miu sneaker, and a red Chanel handbag. Wishing everyone lots and lots of real LOVE!!!

We all look at social media, magazines, bloggers, models, celebrities, and so on. We see how beautifully made up they are, how amazing there clothing and accessories are, how perfect there hair is! And that flawless skin! But do we really know what is underneath the clothing? The make up? The accessories? The filters??? ... no I don’t think we really really do. Now without a doubt they are beautiful and they look beautiful but do they FEEL beautiful? Are they happy underneath all that glamour and designer wear. So aside from fashion, styling, blogging and playing everyday dress up, what is really under “What The Fashionista...?” Let me tell you. I have been pretty athletic since i was 15, i always had a passion for fitness, regardless of how it made me look more importantly it was how it made me feel. It was a high for me like no other! I began as an outdoor runner, and slowly got hooked to boxing. I realized i am an adrenaline junkie, and the endorphins made me feel like superwoman and gave me the best energy possible. Now i realized with time and since I’ve been doing this for many years, fitness is a hobble, its a passion, its therapy, and so much more! But also you need to love it! Unfortunately not everyone does, and they think us fitness junkies are nothing but crazy addicts to our bodies and physique, but they don’t get that its so much more than that! Not only do you feel amazing underneath your clothing, you also feel amazing underneath your skin! So its been several years now, and as i got older i realized what i do love the most is a HIIT kind of training (High Intensity Interval Training). I still love to run, because it makes me doze off and lets me clear my mind from whatever i may have running through it in that specific moment. As far as dieting ... I’m sure you have all heard this before its all about “balance” now i do try to keep a high protein diet, since its best for feeding my muscles, pre and post training. But i do love my French fries and my chocolate! (I try to have dark for the most part). I will post a few photos below of …

Dressing Your Age...

I’m writing in regards to this topic, because i was having a conversation with a really good friend of mine earlier this afternoon, in regards to “Dressing Your Age...” but since your age is just a number...how does this statement truly work? For example, you can be in your late 40’s early 50’s and still feel like your 20 right? It truly is what’s on the inside that counts. Perhaps you have a young soul, just like there are many out there that are in there 20’s but have an old soul right? They aren’t being judged for what they are wearing right? How come the 20 year old that dresses like a 50 year old, is considered “modest” or “proper” while the 50 year old is considered a “slut” or “skank”. When they say in todays day and age that 40 is the NEW 20, it FORSURE is!!! Why? Because we live much longer, we have advanced technology on how to “preserve” ourselves. We are more health conscious, and aware of good and bad foods. Smoking even is not as common as it used to be... (i mean women used to smoke when they were pregnant and that was totally normal right? If you do that nowadays your considered a murderer). Now of course I’m not saying go and put a crop top on with some daisy dukes! with your grand kids,  But i do believe if your confident and comfortable in something just go for it...usually its the energy that you give off that attracts the vibe or feedback your going to receive. OK so there are those mid aged people that are a bit lost and maybe take it to a “tacky” kind of level. But its not because they are trying to act like they are 20 necessarily, it can be that they are just really lost in there closet, and don’t really know how to put things together. That’s where i come in the picture of course! Lol. I’m the person you rely on to help you feel and stay young but with a sense of fashion, that doesn’t make you come across as a 20 year old “skank” wanna be. But as a classy, yet trendy hip individual....regardless who the hell wants to be 20 again? I mean what do you even know at 20? Each year is a learning experience no matter the age. Aging is actually a beautiful process, and no one can force you to grow old faster than you should, or judge you based on a number. Anyways long story short “WEAR WHAT YOU WANT”. (And if you need a little help, you know who to reach out to...) below i will attach some images of some outfits i wore recently. Enjoy, and feel free to always reach out!

LONDON...

I want to talk about this trip! I know its quite random suddenly, but i figured better late than never. So obviously I’ve been to many places, so why “London?” I will explain, this trip was done on utmost spontaneity, i was actually at the Amalfi Coast in Italy with a friend, a trip we had booked together a month before and i believe we were close to ending our trip and felt a bit down about it (bc we had such a great time). So as we are sitting on one of our last dinners (with that feeling of ...ughhhh I don’t want to go back home and face reality), i say to her on pure sarcasm “where are we off to next?” (We are kind of all about conquering places, and spots that we have never been to before). So the first thing she says is... lets go to London next month, and i say “Ok, I’ve never been....” now why? Have i never been there, so reason is everyone always says its a gloomy grey city with nothing but rain and depressing people. So why would someone that is looking for a fun getaway or trip and is spending thousands, really want that? Right? But luckily for me i never listen to anything anyone ever says (sometimes i do the exact opposite, I guess I’m rebellious in that kind of way). As we part ways in Italy, i go back to Miami, she goes back to NYC (where she lives). I get off my flight, I’m ubering home, and no joke once i open my apartment door... i get a text message from her saying “So are we booking London next month or what?” And before i even have a chance to unpack! I say “Yes, lets book now...” and went straight onto my Mac and booked this trip below. Now some people are telling me i had nothing but pure luck! why? Because the weather was amazing, sun was out, wasn’t too cold, and people were very friendly and quite “proper”, Which i guess shouldn’t come by surprise! It’s definitely a Fashion capital to me! I think the style, the places, the hair, the looks....are so trendy and hip, and i felt very safe there. I would definitely go back! below you will see my outfits and looks...that i decided to go with for this trip.

Above, are just a few of my LONDON looks… as you can see the weather was cold but not too bad, it was beginning of October and the sun was still out (which came to me by surprise). I expected more gloomy, but got super lucky with great weather. We stayed at the Mondrian in the center of London, which was a great location (pretty much walking distance to everything), with a pretty cool rooftop bar. I wore a lot of stockings and booties, most of my stockings are from Wolford which is my favorite designer for women’s stockings. I really enjoyed the vibe in London, it was very hipster but yet chic, and i would definitely go back again to visit. (P.S. They all speak english lol) feel free to comment or reach out with any inquiries.
