Dressing Your Age...
I’m writing in regards to this topic, because i was having a conversation with a really good friend of mine earlier this afternoon, in regards to “Dressing Your Age...” but since your age is just a number...how does this statement truly work? For example, you can be in your late 40’s early 50’s and still feel like your 20 right? It truly is what’s on the inside that counts. Perhaps you have a young soul, just like there are many out there that are in there 20’s but have an old soul right? They aren’t being judged for what they are wearing right? How come the 20 year old that dresses like a 50 year old, is considered “modest” or “proper” while the 50 year old is considered a “slut” or “skank”. When they say in todays day and age that 40 is the NEW 20, it FORSURE is!!! Why? Because we live much longer, we have advanced technology on how to “preserve” ourselves. We are more health conscious, and aware of good and bad foods. Smoking even is not as common as it used to be... (i mean women used to smoke when they were pregnant and that was totally normal right? If you do that nowadays your considered a murderer). Now of course I’m not saying go and put a crop top on with some daisy dukes! with your grand kids, But i do believe if your confident and comfortable in something just go for it...usually its the energy that you give off that attracts the vibe or feedback your going to receive. OK so there are those mid aged people that are a bit lost and maybe take it to a “tacky” kind of level. But its not because they are trying to act like they are 20 necessarily, it can be that they are just really lost in there closet, and don’t really know how to put things together. That’s where i come in the picture of course! Lol. I’m the person you rely on to help you feel and stay young but with a sense of fashion, that doesn’t make you come across as a 20 year old “skank” wanna be. But as a classy, yet trendy hip individual....regardless who the hell wants to be 20 again? I mean what do you even know at 20? Each year is a learning experience no matter the age. Aging is actually a beautiful process, and no one can force you to grow old faster than you should, or judge you based on a number. Anyways long story short “WEAR WHAT YOU WANT”. (And if you need a little help, you know who to reach out to...) below i will attach some images of some outfits i wore recently. Enjoy, and feel free to always reach out!
