Retail Therapy…

IMG_1734.jpeg

We have all heard this term before, and I’m sure we have all experienced it as well. Now apparently there is a reason why “Retail Therapy” for whatever reason helps us all on the inside. Wether we are going through stress at work, relationship battles, children issues, parental problems, whatever the cause, it obviously helps and makes us feel good in that very moment. Truth of the matter is after you actually step out of all the shopping that made you forget of whatever it is that you wanted to forget about in that very moment, you still end up exactly where you left off. Now isn’t shopping supposed to be a privelede? Something you do because you earned it? Because you saved up for it? Or because you actually NEED it? Why does it have to turn into an escape? A bad rememberance? A so called help? Do we really want to stare at our wardrobe/closet and remember the day we bought that specific item as a day of sadness? Now obviously i myself did this more than once or even twice, but as i get older i realize its just better to stay put! If things do not go your way for whatever reason, escaping sometimes can even make it worst. Stay put! Think! Mourn! Hope for the best and keep strong in a more natural way. After all, buying something nice for yourself, should be a happy moment! I also believe when happy, your buying decisions tend to be a lot more better in taste. I will post some photos of myself SHOPPING but NOT as an escape!
