Life Goals…

I was out tonight, when i enter my car it connects immediately to my Spotify music. In one of my playlists I have a mix of different genres and songs. Some old, some new, some classic, and some gangsta! So back to tonight when i went into my car, the song “bittersweet symphony” by The Verve plays, since my playlist was on shuffle mode. Now i really love that song! 1- because it reminds me of one of my favorite movies “Cruel Intentions” and 2- theres a specific line in the lyrics, that caught my attention and made me stop and think for a bit. Of course i heard this song plenty of times but, perhaps I didn’t think the lyrics through, i was perhaps younger and didn’t care as much to appreciate the words, or maybe its just the time and place, that made me think of it a bit more into depth. “Trying to make ends meet, your a slave to money then you die.” How true! And perhaps sad at the same time. We are slaves in a weird way…. and then its all gone in a blink of an eye. Some of us may have reached our life goals, and some of us may think we did, and then theres the ones who are far from it. We all think so far ahead, and get so caught up with it we never think of just being in the moment and just being in the NOW! I’m all about life goals, I’m all about achieving everything your heart desires because i was born ambitious! I’m a fighter at hard! And i fight to get what I want always! But also i need to learn to be happy and content with my achievements and not drive myself crazy to achieve more and more! I believe many out there my age or even older, were unable to achieve half of the things i did. The point here is, achieve your life goals….but to acknowledge that you did and actually appreciate and remember those achievements so you can stop beating yourself up about more and more. Below i will post a photo of myself in a super cute outfit with a goal i had from a very young age that i worked hard to achieve in my life and I actually did! Which is having my first home. This photo is taken in the backyard of my home, which is only one my greatest achievements and goal.
